Mikheil Saakashvili: Gharibashvili and Liluashvili might have an “accident” or suffer from some “sudden illness,” but I don’t think prison awaits them

“In my opinion, Ivanishvili will not arrest Gharibashvili and Liluashvili, for several reasons,” writes Georgia’s third president, Mikheil Saakashvili, on his Facebook page.

According to Saakashvili, they might experience an unfortunate accident or some “unexpected illness,” but prison is not what awaits them.

“In my view, Ivanishvili will not arrest Gharibashvili and Liluashvili for several reasons — they know the truth about Erosi Kitsmarishvili’s so-called ‘suicide’ and the subsequent silencing of his family.

They were involved in cooperation with Russian intelligence services and also in money laundering of Russian funds since 2022.

They know every detail about my poisoning in Rustavi Prison, so they might have an ‘accident’ or suffer from some ‘sudden illness,’ but I don’t think prison awaits them,” Saakashvili wrote, referring to former Prime Minister Irakli Gharibashvili and former State Security Service head Grigol Liluashvili.
