The main thing in the so-called “sabotage” case is that this is the Russian regime’s prosecution of the West, publicly and openly. Declaring the West an enemy and pretending to defeat it in Georgia, - the leader of Droa, Elene Khoshtaria, writes in a letter sent from the Rustavi Women’s Prison.
According to Elene Khoshtaria, the pro-Western opposition must show together that neither the opposition nor the idea of the West can be defeated by prosecution.
“I would like to respond to yesterday’s political process. The main thing in this so-called “sabotage” case is not who will be released, returned, or summoned, the main thing is that this is the Russian regime’s prosecution of the West, publicly and openly. Declaring the West an enemy and pretending to defeat it in Georgia in the form of an opposition.
Therefore, there is no point in looking for any individual legal dimensions in this case. The pro-Western opposition must show together that this process will end in failure, because the so-called trials will not defeat either the opposition or the idea of the West.
The Georgian opposition will be one of the important barriers to the real enemy, Russia. This responsibility is now ours.
Here I would like to publish the title page of the document I developed years ago regarding international personal sanctions, which I proudly, actively, publicly and reasonably shared with all friends of our state, because this is what protecting our country from the real enemy is all about. I will only be happy if my contribution to the sanctioning of Ivanishvili is at least 1%. I am also happy that, finally, the West is also talking about the Kulevi terminal. It is impossible not to resist all forms of terrorism that Russia is committing in Ukraine and the Russian regime of the Georgian Dream that supports them. Today, this is what the defense of the state and moral salvation depend on.
From prison and outside, we must attack the regime in word and deed, including relating to this political process!
P.S. Not a single word spoken by the public lawyer assigned to me during the proceedings is and will not be related to me," said Elene Khoshtaria.
For information, the Prosecutor General's Office has filed charges against Mikheil Saakashvili, Giorgi Vashadze, Nika Gvaramia, Nika Melia, Zurab Girchi Japaridze, Elene Khoshtaria, Mamuka Khazaradze and Badri Japaridze in the so-called sabotage case.
