Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze met with Masato Kanda, President of the Asian Development Bank (ADB).
According to the Government Administration, the meeting focused on the fruitful cooperation between the Government of Georgia and the Asian Development Bank.
Emphasis was placed on the importance of the Asian Development Bank's support as one of Georgia's most reliable partners in the country's economic sectors.
They discussed the ADB's investment portfolio in Georgia. It was noted that ADB investments in both the public and private sectors exceed 5 billion USD and finance programs aimed at developing tourism infrastructure, water supply, transport connectivity, energy, and the regional and municipal sectors.
It was highlighted that the opening of the Asian Development Bank's new office in Tbilisi is yet another clear testament to the long-term partnership between Georgia and the ADB,” — the information states.
