It is a pleasure to be in the Georgian Parliament as the President of the Parliamentary Assembly - we had a very good and sincere meeting with the Speaker of the Parliament, - OSCE Parliamentary Assembly President Pere Joan Pons Sampietro told journalists after his meeting with the Speaker of the Georgian Parliament Shalva Papuashvili.

According to him, meetings will be held with the country's leaders, representatives of civil society and members of the opposition within the framework of the two-day visit.

"We had a very good and sincere meeting with the Speaker of the Parliament. We talked about the results of the 2024 report. This was our first meeting. It was interesting and lasted more than an hour. We will discuss all the issues that concern this country and then we will hold a press conference, because I want to hear all the opinions and data and then we will talk," - the President of the OSCE Parliamentary Assembly noted.
