Shalva Papuashvili on the German Ambassador: In Mr. Peter's case, it seems permissible first to manipulate with lies, and then to fail to notice the truth - the rules-based international order has been violated, but what has honesty done wrong?!

Parliament Speaker Shalva Papuashvili responds on social media to the information about the removal of the Kulevi port from the EU's 20th sanctions package against Russia, writing that the German Ambassador, Peter Fischer, will not apologize in this case either.

“Universally recognized German honesty, in such cases, implies an apology. But in Mr. Peter's case, it seems permissible first to manipulate with lies, and then to fail to notice the truth.

The rules-based international order has been violated, but what has honesty done wrong?!” - writes Papuashvili, sharing Peter Fischer's statements.

For information: The EU Special Representative for Sanctions Issues, David O'Sullivan, sent a letter to Georgia's Foreign Minister Maka Bochorishvili, stating that the European Union did not include the Kulevi Oil Terminal located in Georgia in the 20th sanctions package against Russia.
