Shalva Papuashvili: A bigger problem than stray dogs is the emotionally damaged radical opposition - their soap bubble has burst; we can’t help them politically, they need a different kind of assistance

Shalva Papuashvili stated that a bigger problem than stray dogs is the emotionally damaged radical opposition. According to him, “their soap bubble has burst, but what we are left with is the face of an emotionally damaged radical opposition, which we can no longer help politically; they need a different kind of assistance,” he told journalists.

He also noted that the ministry and the agency have already provided explanations regarding the issue of stray dogs.

“What we have seen in recent days is that a bigger problem than stray dogs is the emotionally damaged radical opposition. There is absolute hysteria, which is typical of radicals on every issue, and complete inadequacy that characterizes certain groups. I think this problem has become even more visible - we are dealing with a group of emotionally damaged individuals in the form of the radical opposition, who need a different kind of help. We cannot assist them politically in any way; they need another type of support.

The footage we saw yesterday - the behavior, intrusion, and attacks - is completely detached from any form of appropriate conduct, and they are doing all this openly. We have seen detailed explanations from the ministry and the agency on every issue: where, how, and in what manner dogs are taken, treated, and then returned. We are dealing with such inadequate people that even publishing such detailed information became necessary,” Papuashvili said.
