According to the third President of Georgia, Mikheil Saakashvili, former Minister of Justice Zurab Adeishvili has been appointed head of Ukraine’s Interpol.
As Saakashvili writes on his Facebook page, his comrade-in-arms, Goga Tskhakaia, has also been appointed advisor to Ukraine’s Defense Minister, Mikheil Fedorov.
“Zurab Adeishvili has been appointed head of Ukraine’s Interpol.
Previously, he headed the Prosecutor General’s Office’s group that collected and documented facts about crimes committed by Russians on the territory of Ukraine.
In his new position, Zurab will be responsible for the detention and extradition of perpetrators of crimes in Ukraine from abroad, as well as the search for perpetrators of crimes committed abroad on the territory of Ukraine.
In addition, my long-time comrade, Goga Tskhakaia, was appointed as an advisor to my friend, the Minister of Defense of Ukraine, Mikhail Fedorov.
This is especially important now, when Ukraine has successes on the front.
Also, the head of the National Anti-Corruption Bureau of Ukraine, Semen Krivonos, who was my assistant in Kiev and Odessa for 5 years, continues to work successfully.
In short, I am the only one left in Russian captivity,” Saakashvili wrote on the social network.
