The people know very well who is who, whom Salome Zurabishvili serves, and whose influence she is under,” said the Mayor of the capital, Kakha Kaladze, commenting on the statement of Georgia’s 5th President, Salome Zurabishvili, who said that she believes in elections and wants Georgian Dream to leave power through elections.

According to him, the illusion that Salome Zurabishvili has — that someone from outside will issue orders or manipulate the Georgian people — will not succeed.

“Now they’ve realized that elections are important, haven’t they?! Who should be in power in this country is decided by its population. The illusion you have, that someone from outside will give orders, that someone will instruct someone else, or manipulate the Georgian people — this will not work.

The people know everything very well — who is who, who serves whom, whom Salome Zurabishvili serves, and whose influence she is under. The Georgian people know everything.

Whether you create new parties individually or adopt new names, it won’t help you. You are traitors. This is the reality, based on what you have done. I mean everyone who has been involved in hostile activities against the Georgian state — absolutely everyone,” Kaladze stated.

For the record, Georgia’s 5th President, Salome Zurabishvili, stated that she believes in elections and wants Georgian Dream to leave power through elections. According to her, changing the government through elections will put Georgia back “on its track.”

“I believe in elections! This is a stable and peaceful path for the country,” Zurabishvili said in a video address shared on social media.
