Tina Bokuchava - Ivanishvili is meticulously fulfilling the task of Zakharova and her boss Putin to deprive Georgia of any prospects of ever becoming a member of the European Union

Zakharova did not add that instead of the EU and NATO, Georgia should join the CIS and the Eurasian Union, this is Russia and Putin's vision for Georgia, - this is how the chairwoman of the National Movement Tina Bokuchava responded to the statement of the official representative of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova, who said that Georgia's membership in the EU and joining the sanctions against Russia would deal a "heavy blow" to Georgia's tourism industry and would cause the loss of preferential trade relations with Russia and the CIS countries.

According to Bokuchava, today Georgia has a government that meticulously fulfills Putin's instructions.

"Unfortunately, today there is a de facto government that fulfills all of Russia's strategic goals in relation to Georgia in the sense that it deprives Georgia of and has already de facto taken away all prospects for Georgia to ever become a member of the European Union. In this sense, Ivanishvili is perfectly fulfilling this task of Zakharova and her boss Vladimir Putin," Bokuchava said.

She also responded to the statements made by Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze at the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, noting that the actions of the current government are further isolating Georgia, which is negatively affecting the well-being of the population.

“These statements are a bit laughable. Maybe Mariam Lashkhi wrote this specific speech for Mr. Kobakhidze, but the fact is that today this regime is in complete international isolation. Instead of pursuing a national, European, Georgian and correct foreign policy and leading Georgia to a truly peaceful state, accelerating the process of joining the European Union, we see that Ivanishvili and his propagandists in the form of Shatirishvili and the so-called officials in the form of Kobakhidze and others are engaged in absurd delusions, which is pushing our country into even deeper isolation, which will be reflected in the well-being of every citizen of Georgia, unfortunately for us,” Bokuchava said.

For information, according to one of Kobakhidze's statements at the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, informal influences are evident in official organizations, they create challenges for countries instead of protecting sovereignty, and Georgia is a "good" example of this, which needs to change.
