In the past few years, Georgia has seen five attempts at revolution, most of which were violent. We must not allow this to happen again and we will do everything we can to prevent this. First there was Ackerman, then there were others, now there is Blažević. The names change, but who is behind them is the main thing, - Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze told journalists in Antalya.
According to the Prime Minister, the government has managed to stabilize the situation, including through the legislation adopted on the financing of NGOs.
"Today, it is a very sad practice, we see that foreign intervention is being used, including financial intervention, to destabilize the situation in Georgia. Society must confront this first of all, with proper assessment. Over the past few years, we have seen five attempts at revolution in Georgia, most of which were violent. We must not allow this to happen again and we will do everything to prevent this. First there was Ackerman, then there were others, now there is Blažević. The names change, but who is behind them, that is the main thing. This is the force that we call the global war party, which does not want our country, our population to be peaceful, although we have managed to stabilize the situation in our country, including with the legislation that was adopted regarding the financing of NGOs, and we take responsibility for ensuring that this stability is maintained," the Prime Minister said.
