14 years! This 'Dream' no longer belongs to the 'Dreamers' and has become a nightmare of opportunists, power-grabbers, and slaves! - this is how the fifth President of Georgia, Salome Zurabishvili, assesses the 14 years since the official registration of the Georgian Dream as a political party with the Ministry of Justice.
As Zurabishvili notes, all this is the fault of “too much conformity, too little hope, not believing in ourselves enough, and failing or refusing to put the country above everything else.”
“14 years! It has already transcended any regularity! This 'Dream' no longer belongs to the 'Dreamers' and has become a nightmare of opportunists, power-grabbers, and slaves! But this is also partly our fault: because of too much conformity, too little hope, not believing in ourselves enough, and failing or refusing to put the country above everything else. Together we will fix it, and together we will make it happen!” - Zurabishvili writes.
For information, on April 21, 2012, the Georgian Dream was officially registered as a political party at the Ministry of Justice.
