A state minister is a minister without a ministry - the position of state minister has been created, which is endowed with a very important state function. Any attempt to diminish this is doomed to failure from the very beginning, - Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze told journalists.

According to the Prime Minister, the only difference between a minister and a state minister is that a minister heads a ministry, while a state minister is engaged in the implementation of specific state tasks, without a ministry.

"In reality, everything is very simple, a very important change has been made in the law enforcement system, one important link has been added - the coordination link. This very important function has been assigned to the Vice Prime Minister, the State Minister, this position will be held by Mamuka Mdinaradze. Everything else is speculation, an emphasis on technical issues. Of course, the public sees everything clearly. In fact, the system of law enforcement agencies is being strengthened by adding a new link.
