The official opening ceremony of the European Political Community Summit was held in the Armenian capital Yerevan.

The event is being held at the Karen Demirchyan Sports and Concert Complex. The plenary session of the summit is planned to follow the opening ceremony.

The motto of this year’s summit is “Building the Future: Unity and Stability in Europe”.

More than 30 European leaders and the Prime Minister of Canada are attending the summit. The leaders of the European Union, Ursula von der Leyen, Antonio Costa, Kaja Kallas, the President of the European Parliament, Roberta Metsola, the President of France, Emmanuel Macron, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom, Keir Starmer, and other leaders are in Yerevan.

Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze is in Yerevan with a delegation that includes Georgian Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs Maka Bochorishvili and Head of Government Administration Levan Zhorzholiani.
