I do not comment on what Georgian politicians say about me, the EU Ambassador to Georgia, Pawel Herczynski, told journalists at an event dedicated to Europe Day.
Pawel Herczynski was asked about the statement made by Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze.
“From the very first day of my arrival in Georgia, my policy has been not to comment on what Georgian politicians say about me. I do not take it personally. It is a great honor to represent the European Union in Georgia and I am trying to do it as good as possible,” said Pawel Herczynski.
For information, Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said that Pawel Herczynski is a “tragic person.”
"This is a tragic person. He was tasked with strengthening and deepening relations between the European Union and Georgia, and in fact he did everything to the contrary, because he had such a task. This is a tragic person, therefore the event that is being held under his leadership, unfortunately, does not carry much value," the Prime Minister noted.
