He also assessed the statement of the Prime Minister of Georgia, Irakli Kobakhidze, where he called the EU Ambassador a tragic person. He said that if anyone has spoiled relations with the European Union and its member states, it is the ruling party, “whose goal is to isolate the country”.

“It is tragic that these people call themselves the Georgian government and come out with such rhetoric. If anyone has spoiled relations with the European Union and its member states, it is they who are now attacking the EU ambassador and our friends, because they want to isolate us.

It is sad that these people are making statements to make Russia applaud them. They pretend they want to reset relations. They violate your own citizens, trample on any democratic principle on which the main idea of ​​the European family is based, and confront your friends. Therefore, on May 26, let's all come to the rally, gather and give them an answer that our path is towards the European Union, towards development, towards a strong state and towards a united Georgia, and that we reject this opposing force that is engaged in committing evil,” said Giorgi Vashadze.
