Levan Bezhashvili - Today is the day of another political execution of Ivanishvili's court - today Ivanishvili's obedient judge will announce a political verdict against Levan Khabeishvili

Today is the day of another political execution of Ivanishvili’s court. Today, Ivanishvili’s obedient judge will announce a political verdict to the Chairman of the Political Council of the National Movement Levan Khabeishvili - Ivanishvili should know that no judge, no verdict, no prison can stop people’s struggle. This struggle will continue until the final victory, - one of the leaders of the National Movement Levan Bezhashvili stated at a briefing near the City Court.

According to him, today the court is a political revenge machine, which has been aiming to destroy free speech in the country since 2012.

“This is not a court, this is not justice, this is a political revenge machine, which has been aiming to destroy free speech and opinion in the country since 2012, the National Movement, the political opposition and all those who oppose the Russian regime. Today, a situation has been created in Georgia where everything is controlled by the Russian oligarch, so everyone who fights against the Russian oligarch is in danger. The chairman of the National Movement party, Mikheil Saakashvili, is a political exile and a personal prisoner of Putin. He is being punished only because he created the new Georgian state, strengthened this country, led it towards Europe and did not bow to Russia. Political prisoners are Irakli Nadiradze and dozens of our members who defended freedom, the European future and Georgia on October 4. Now the regime wants to try Levan Khabeishvili, who stood by the people and called on the special forces to do the only thing: not to use violence against their own people, not to use tear gas against people, not to carry out criminal orders and not to become a blind weapon in the hands of the Russian regime against people. Therefore, today we all need special unity in order to unite against the Russian regime. Ivanishvili should know that no judge, no verdict, no prison can stop people's struggle. This struggle will continue until the final victory, until political persecution stops and all political prisoners are free, this struggle will definitely end with the victory of the Georgian people, freedom will definitely win," Bezhashvili said.

For information, the verdict in the case of the Chairman of the Political Council of the "United National Movement", Levan Khabeishvili, on the fact of promising a bribe to an official and calling for the overthrow of the state government, and the former Prosecutor General Murtaz Zodelava, who was arrested on the fact of obstructing the investigation, will be announced today.

The hearing is scheduled for 13:30 at the Tbilisi City Court.
