The Prime Minister's letter is about the absurdity of what is happening in an EU member state - where is Herczynski? Come out! You are the EU representative in Georgia, right? What happened in Denmark, did you condemn it? You cannot condemn it, because your colleagues from there will condemn you then - this is another lustration that you do not represent anything, - the Chairman of the Parliamentary Committee on Diaspora Issues, Irakli Zarkua, told journalists.
With this, he responded to the open letter sent by Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze to the heads of European structures, European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen, European Council President Antonio Costa, and European Parliament President Roberta Metsola.
Zarkua said they do not expect a response from them, but with this letter, they have “once again pointed out and unmasked the Eurobureaucrats and their injustice and incompetence.”
“The Prime Minister’s letter is about the absurdity of what is happening in an EU member state, where in broad daylight, activists can be confronted by police with batons, dogs can be barked at, and no public figure reacts to this. This once again indicates the injustice, double standards, and incompetence of European bureaucrats and officials.
This is a lustration of these injustices and double standards. Naturally, we are not waiting, or what answer should they give? The German ambassador is running and hiding from journalists in response to this topic. Where is Herczynski? Come out! You are the representative of the European Union in Georgia, right? Did you condemn what happened in Denmark? You cannot condemn it, because your colleagues from there will condemn you then. This is another lustration of you, that you represent nothing. This is not a protection of human rights, this is simply an attempt to wage war against the statehood of Georgia, in order to overthrow the ruling party, the legitimate government, and then install puppets, as Chisinau, Moldova, and other such stateless countries have.
This is our position! We are not expecting anything, we have simply once again pointed out and unmasked these Eurobureaucrats, their injustice and incompetence”, - stated Irakli Zarkua.
