Various countries congratulate Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze on the country's Independence Day.

The Georgian Government Administration disseminated congratulatory letters sent to Irakli Kobakhidze from leaders of neighboring and partner countries.

“I sincerely congratulate you on Independence Day - May 26 - personally and the entire Georgian people, and wish you all the best on my own behalf and on behalf of the Azerbaijani people.

We are very pleased with the dynamic development and achievements of our friendly country and strategic partner - Georgia. Relations between Azerbaijan and Georgia are based on the traditions of friendship, brotherhood and good-neighborliness, which have been formed between our peoples for centuries. Today, our interstate relations and strategic partnership are characterized by high-level political dialogue, regular bilateral visits and mutually beneficial cooperation, which is constantly enriched with new content,” Ilham Aliyev noted.

The President of the Republic of Azerbaijan draws attention to the further deepening of the strategic partnership.

In turn, as noted in the congratulatory message of the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, the further strengthening of fraternal relations with Georgia is one of the main goals of the foreign policy of the Government of Armenia.

“On behalf of the Government of the Republic of Armenia and personally, I would like to sincerely congratulate you on the national holiday of Georgia, the Day of Restoration of State Independence. The further strengthening of fraternal relations with Georgia is one of the main goals of the foreign policy of our government, which already has the character of a practical and institutionalized strategic partnership. I would like to note with particular satisfaction the participation of the Georgian delegation, under your leadership, in the 8th Summit of the European Political Community held in Yerevan. We also highly appreciate the efforts of the Government of Georgia and you personally in the direction of regional cooperation. Once again, I congratulate you on Independence Day and wish you fruitful activities, and peace and prosperity to your country,” reads Nikol Pashinyan’s congratulatory message.

President of the Republic of Turkey Recep Tayyip Erdogan wishes Georgia and the Georgian people well-being.

“Dear Prime Minister, on behalf of myself and the Turkish people, I would like to extend my heartfelt congratulations to you and the Georgian people on the Independence Day of our neighboring and friendly Georgia. During your visit to the Antalya Diplomacy Forum last month, we had the opportunity to discuss the strategic partnership between Turkey and Georgia, the further deepening of our close friendship and exemplary cooperation, which, in my deep belief, serves the interests of our peoples, the stability and prosperity of the region. I take this opportunity to once again wish you good health and happiness, and prosperity to the friendly people of Georgia,” reads the congratulatory letter from the President of the Republic of Turkey.

As for the letter from Chinese Premier Li Keqiang, the congratulatory letter speaks of the positive dynamics of the development of the China-Georgia strategic partnership in recent years.

"I sincerely congratulate you on Georgia's Independence Day and wish you and the Georgian government all the best. Over the past few years, the China-Georgia strategic partnership has been developing well, and bilateral cooperation within the framework of the Belt and Road Initiative has yielded fruitful results. I express my readiness to work together to deepen cooperation between our countries and elevate China-Georgia relations to a higher level. I wish you good health and all the best. I wish Georgia prosperity and the Georgian people happiness,” reads Li Keqiang’s congratulatory message.

In addition, Croatian Prime Minister Andrej Plenković congratulated Irakli Kobakhidze on Georgia’s Independence Day. As noted in the congratulatory message, the Republic of Croatia attaches great importance to the relations and fruitful cooperation between the two countries.

Also, Irakli Kobakhidze received a congratulatory letter from Bulgarian Prime Minister Rumen Radev, who draws attention to the long-standing historical and cultural ties between the two countries and notes that the Republic of Bulgaria appreciates the existing constructive cooperation with Georgia.

The Serbian Prime Minister also congratulates Georgia on Independence Day. As noted in the congratulatory letter, bilateral cooperation between the Republic of Serbia and Georgia, based on mutual respect, is developing in all areas of common interest.
