“This is a very good example of how we can successfully cooperate on specific legal matters,” Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze said in response to a journalist’s question regarding a joint operation conducted by the Georgian Prosecutor’s Office and the Regional Security Service of the U.S. Embassy, during which two organized criminal groups were identified.
The Prime Minister thanked everyone involved in the investigation.
“We are fully ready to further develop this type of cooperation in the future. This is a very good example of how we can successfully cooperate on specific legal matters. I want to thank everyone who was involved in this investigation, including our Prosecutor’s Office representatives. We are ready for such cooperation in the future as well,” the head of government said.
