Parents of children with Duchenne muscular dystrophy note in a statement that their main demand is still the import of modern drugs that slow down the progression of the disease and increase life expectancy.
“Today, on June 3, at 12:00, parents of children with Duchenne muscular dystrophy will meet with Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze. Our main demand remains unchanged: we demand the import of modern drugs for the treatment of Duchenne muscular dystrophy that slow down the progression of the disease and increase life expectancy. We hope that the state will take urgent measures to save the lives of our children,” reads the statement released by the parents of children with Duchenne muscular dystrophy.
