As Bezhashvili stated in the PalitranNews program, certain political groups are trying to diminish the political role of Mikheil Saakashvili, and their rhetoric often coincides with the messages that were heard from the government in the past.

“The National Movement has gone through a difficult period after 2012. Against this background, it is unfortunate that the National Movement is again the object of criticism and complaints are being voiced against it, especially from those people who had connections with the party, had influence and know how this party works.

In fact, an attempt is being carried out to diminish the role of Mikheil Saakashvili by small parties. Friends, look at your rhetoric, assessments in relation to Mikheil Saakashvili, in relation to the National Movement and compare it with the campaign conducted by the Georgian Dream a few months ago, you will see that you are on an identical topic. Unfortunately, their efforts are more against the National Movement and Mikheil Saakashvili than against the common enemy of this country - the Georgian Dream”, - Bezhashvili said.

He also emphasized the importance of protest activities and noted that constant movement and activity are necessary to strengthen the political process.

“I think that the main thing is movement. When we are not active, we are not moving, we are not in active movement and sometimes small pauses of idleness arise, then complaints against each other begin, we should be busy with work. Therefore, we must continue active protest”, - Bezhashvili said.
