Overall, the opposition is weak, and under conditions of weakness it is difficult for them to cooperate with each other. They do not even like each other, so how are they supposed to appeal to the Georgian people?!” – this is what Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze told journalists.
According to him, the opposition has no chance of achieving success with the Georgian people.
“You may remember predictions made a few months ago that this new alliance would inevitably fall apart, just as up to ten similar alliances have dissolved in the past. This has a simple reason – overall, the opposition is weak, and under conditions of weakness it is difficult for them to cooperate with each other. They do not even like each other, so how are they supposed to appeal to the Georgian people?! This is a simple question that can be asked. This opposition has absolutely no chance of achieving any success with the Georgian people, and therefore they are focused not on the Georgian people, but on their external patrons. This is the current situation.
As for the promotion of Nanuka Zhorzholiani in this process, it also reflects the very severe situation that has been created within the radical opposition,” Kobakhidze said.
