Irakli Kobakhidze leaves for Tajikistan for official visit

Prime Minister of Georgia Irakli Kobakhidze has left for the Republic of Tajikistan for an official visit, the government administration reports.

An official welcoming ceremony for the head of government will be held at Dushanbe International Airport. Irakli Kobakhidze will be greeted by the Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan.

Within the framework of the official visit, the Georgian Prime Minister is scheduled to meet his Tajik counterpart face-to-face and in an expanded format.

The head of the Georgian government will be hosted by President of the Republic of Tajikistan at the Presidential Palace. After the meeting, the leaders will make joint statements to the media.

Within the framework of the official visit, the Prime Minister is scheduled to meet with the Chairman of the Chamber of Representatives of the Supreme Assembly of the Republic of Tajikistan.

Irakli Kobakhidze traveled to the Republic of Tajikistan with a delegation consisting of Vice Prime Minister, Minister of Foreign Affairs Maka Bochorishvili, Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development Mariam Kvrivishvili, Minister of Environment Protection and Agriculture David Songulashvili, Minister of Education, Science and Youth Givi Mikanadze, Minister of Culture Tinatin Rukhadze, and Head of the Government Administration Levan Zhorzholiani.
