Irakli Kirtskhalia: In the United National Movement, we are watching yet another season, yet another episode - ‘From the Chronicles of Mikheil Saakashvili: The Clash of Brilliant Nana and Tinatin’

“What is happening in the United National Movement, we have named ‘From the Chronicles of Mikheil Saakashvili: The Clash of Brilliant Nana and Tinatin.’ This is how we can title this tragicomic event,” said the parliamentary majority leader and chair of the Georgian Dream parliamentary faction, Irakli Kirtskhalia.

According to him, what is currently happening in this opposition party is yet another episode of a new season.

“We are watching yet another season, another episode in the United National Movement. What is happening, we have named ‘From the Chronicles of Mikheil Saakashvili: The Clash of Brilliant Nana and Tinatin.’ This is how we can title this tragicomic event. Imagine a woman who was the chairperson of a particular party, and she finds out through social media that she is no longer the party chairperson, and that another alternative has been offered by Mr. Mikheil. This shows their lack of organization.

Today, if their patrons decided to give this agent network freedom of action and decision-making, they simply would not be able to move. Even before 2012, when they were in power, all their steps were dictated and agreed upon. They continue the same in opposition. I don’t know whether this is an assignment or like playing with a matchbox on an agent field that has been left unattended for a few weeks,” Kirtskhalia said.
