The lawyer of Strong Georgia-Lelo member Aleko Elisashvili, Giorgi Rekhviashvili, has filed a lawsuit against the Speaker of Parliament Shalva Papuashvili with the Tbilisi City Court.

As Rekhviashvili stated, Shalva Papuashvili has repeatedly violated the presumption of innocence of Aleko Elisashvili in public speeches, put pressure on the court and the prosecutor's office, and called his political opponent a terrorist, which damaged the reputation, honor, and dignity of Aleksandre Elisashvili.

According to Rekhviashvili, they demand that the court establish the fact that "the Speaker of Parliament has repeatedly violated the honor, dignity and business reputation of Aleksandre Elisashvili."
