It is easy to oppress a student, isn’t it?” said Sophia Khorguani, a member of the “For Georgia” faction, addressing Prosecutor General Giorgi Gvarakidze from the parliamentary tribune.

According to Khorguani, the Prosecutor’s Office appears more as a shield for the government rather than an independent institution. She also stated that today it became clear the Prosecutor General is biased and does not truly care about the rule of law.

No democracy collapses in a single day - it erodes gradually, when people lose faith in justice. You must understand your responsibility in this process.
