A strategic partnership agreement has been signed between Georgia and the Republic of Uzbekistan. The information was released by the Press Service of the Government Administration.
According to them, the joint declaration, according to which the relations between the two countries are elevated to the level of strategic partnership, was signed by Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze and the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan, Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
“Following the expanded-format negotiations between members of the two governments, memorandums of cooperation were also signed between the relevant agencies of Georgia and the Republic of Uzbekistan in the fields of economy, healthcare, environmental protection and agriculture, finance, customs, education, information and communication technologies, and culture,” the information states.
