Official welcome ceremony held for the President of Turkmenistan at the Presidential Palace

The President of Turkmenistan, Serdar Berdimuhamedov, has arrived in Georgia on an official visit. Georgia's Vice Prime Minister and Minister of Defense, Irakli Chikovani, welcomed the Turkmen President and members of his delegation at Tbilisi International Airport.

An official welcome ceremony for the President of Turkmenistan was held at the Presidential Palace. Serdar Berdimuhamedov was welcomed by the President of Georgia, Mikheil Kavelashvili.

According to the Presidential Administration, a one-on-one meeting between the President of Turkmenistan and Georgian President Mikheil Kavelashvili is scheduled to take place at the Presidential Palace. "The leaders will discuss prospects for deepening bilateral cooperation and the regional agenda," the statement said.

Meanwhile, according to the Ministry of Defense, a one-on-one meeting between Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze and Serdar Berdimuhamedov is scheduled for tomorrow. Bilateral meetings between the ministers are also planned.
