Financial assistance of GEL 300 per family and GEL 45 per person for Ukrainian citizens and individuals with permanent residence permits in Ukraine who entered Georgia due to the ongoing war in Ukraine has been extended until October 1, 2026, according to the Administration of the Government of Georgia.

The government also said that the GEL 45 payment will no longer be provided from the following month to individuals who have left Georgia.

“The Government of Georgia has issued a respective decree, signed by Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze. The Social Service Agency will ensure the provision of the funding.

“Under the same provision, the GEL 300 allocated to help create housing conditions for families will also be discontinued from the following month if all members of the family have left the territory of Georgia,” the statement said.

In addition, under a decision of the Government of Georgia, the period during which Ukrainian citizens who entered Georgia between February 1, 2022, and October 1, 2026, due to the hostilities in Ukraine and have remained continuously in Georgia are provided with medical services has been extended until October 1, 2026.

The relevant decree was also signed by Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze.

“According to the document, until October 1, 2026, Ukrainian citizens will have access to the following medical services: immunization; treatment of tuberculosis and HIV infection/AIDS, including the provision of specific medications; maternal and child healthcare, including antenatal care and newborn screening; mental healthcare; diabetes management, including the provision of medications; dialysis; treatment of patients with rare diseases and those requiring permanent replacement therapy; referral services — emergency medical services, including childbirth and emergency immunization,” the statement said.
