Georgia’s Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze will participate in the 81st session of the United Nations General Assembly, according to information released by the Administration of the Government of Georgia.
According to the same source, the head of the Georgian government will address the General Debate of the General Assembly on September 24.
“During his visit to New York, the Prime Minister will also participate in the ‘Multilateral Partnership’ Summit and a high-level panel discussion on peace organized by Finland. Bilateral meetings are also planned between Irakli Kobakhidze and the leaders of various countries, as well as with UN Secretary-General António Guterres.
The Prime Minister of Georgia has traveled to New York with a delegation that includes Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Maka Botchorishvili and Head of the Government Administration Levan Zhorzholiani,” the statement said.
