Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze will address the session of the United Nations General Assembly today.
The Government Administration released information about the Prime Minister’s upcoming speech.
According to Levan Zhorzholiani, Head of the Government Administration, Kobakhidze will focus on the ongoing occupation, which he described as “the country’s main security challenge.”
“The Prime Minister will emphasize the importance of diplomacy and reconciliation, as well as the importance of returning these territories only through peaceful means.
The Prime Minister will also discuss the economic indicators recorded in the country over the past five years. He will speak about the strategic projects that the country plans to develop, particularly those aimed at strengthening Georgia’s connectivity function.
The Prime Minister will address the importance of international cooperation and note that we are ready to cooperate with absolutely everyone, provided that such cooperation is based on equality and respect for sovereignty,” Levan Zhorzholiani said.
