“They see their own failure and yet continue to gather every day, sometimes with 20, 50 or 150 people. Accordingly, this group has definitely taken on the character of a sect,” Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze told journalists.

According to him, gathering every day without any clear objective, while knowing that they will not achieve any result, represents a form of sect-like activity.

“They see their own failure and yet continue to gather every day, sometimes with 20, 50 or 150 people. Accordingly, this group has definitely taken on the character of a sect.

“When you conduct rituals on a daily basis, without any objective, knowing that you will not achieve any result and gathering in this manner without being oriented toward achieving any outcome or pursuing any goal, this is clearly a form of sect-like activity. There can be no other assessment of it,” the Prime Minister said.
