Restoring territorial integrity through peaceful means is one of our primary national objectives, and neither Baramidze, Gvaramia, Berdzenishvili, nor anyone else can change this, regardless of the orders or assignments they may receive—Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze told journalists.

As the Prime Minister noted, it has become evident that these individuals have received a new order—a new assignment—from their superiors abroad.

"This was indicated first by Baramidze’s statement, then by Gvaramia’s statements, and prior to that, by Berdzenishvili’s statement. They have a new line—they have received a new directive or assignment—aimed at relegating the issue of restoring territorial integrity to the background; this is something that cannot be permitted under any circumstances.
