The Speaker of the Parliament of Georgia, Shalva Papuashvili, accompanied by a parliamentary delegation, has departed for Tanzania to participate in the 153rd Assembly of the Inter-Parliamentary Union (IPU) in the city of Arusha.
According to the press service, the Speaker will deliver a speech during the general debate and participate in the election of the IPU President.
As part of the visit, the Speaker will also hold bilateral meetings. The Georgian parliamentary delegation, led by Shalva Papuashvili, includes Nikoloz Samkharadze, Chair of the Foreign Relations Committee, and Mariam Lashkhi, Chair of the Education, Science, and Youth Affairs Committee.
