Prime Minister: The World Bank’s updated economic growth forecast has risen to 7%—an increase of 2 percentage points—a figure 2.6 times higher than the average for other EU candidate countries

The World Bank has released an updated economic growth forecast, raising the projection to 7%; Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze announced during a government meeting.
According to the Prime Minister, this reflects the positive trends observed in Georgia's economy throughout the current year.
"Previously, in June, a forecast of 5% was published; this has now been raised by 2 percentage points—from 5% to 7%—reflecting the positive trends observed in Georgia's economy throughout the year. This forecast is 2.6 times higher than the average for other EU candidate countries. It is also worth noting that, according to World Bank projections, Georgia will record the highest economic growth among all European countries over the next three years—2026, 2027, and 2028. Maintaining this trend is one of our top priorities," the Prime Minister stated.
