Irakli Kobakhidze: I would like to remind Mr. Herczyński that after losing elections they do not sing olé, olé

I would like to remind Mr. Herczyński that after losing elections they do not sing “Olé, olé.” This is my message to him, Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze told journalists at a briefing held at the Government Administration.

Irakli Kobakhidze responded to the event organized by the EU Representation in Kakheti, where the group “Gamoivilim Mdgomeoba” was performing, and answered the journalist’s question: “To what extent do Herczyński’s actions fit within the functions of a diplomat?”

According to Kobakhidze’s assessment, the actions of the EU Ambassador at the event held in Kakheti constitute a direct violation of the Vienna Convention.

“Of course, they do not fit. These actions are a direct violation of the Vienna Convention. In addition, I would like to recall one saying: ‘After the battle they do not shake their fists.’ Also, I would like to remind Mr. Herczyński that after losing elections they do not sing ‘Olé, olé.’ This is my message to him,” Kobakhidze stated.
