When asked whether President is considering pardoning Irakli Garibashvili, Prime Minister replies: "I don't know what others are thinking—I haven't developed the gift of telepathy yet. Your question has absolutely no basis"

"I don't know what others are thinking. I haven't developed the gift of telepathy yet," stated Georgian Prime Minister Irakli Kobakhidze, responding to a journalist's question about whether President Mikheil Kavelashvili is considering a pardon for former Prime Minister Irakli Garibashvili.
According to Kobakhidze, there is no basis whatsoever for such a question.
"When a question has no basis, you shouldn't ask it. Your question has absolutely no basis," Kobakhidze declared.
When asked what his recommendation to the President would be should such a matter arise, Kobakhidze noted that he would not intervene at all.
"I will not intervene in this matter in any way; but let me repeat—this question has no basis, and you shouldn't ask about things that have no basis," Kobakhidze said.
