Lasha Parulava: Tbilisi is a hub for transnational cybercrime and cyber-based call centers- a situation for which Georgian Dream bears responsibility; we call on investigative bodies to cease providing protection and to launch an investigation

Tbilisi, the capital of Georgia, serves as a hub for transnational cybercrime and cyber-based call centers, and Georgian Dream is responsible for this. This is a grave crime involving tens of thousands of young people; according to our information, the proceeds are being laundered through the construction sector and the gambling industry, Lasha Parulava, a leader of the National Movement, stated at the briefing.
He further noted that even though the individuals previously identified as protectors of this scheme are now in prison, the criminal activity persists. He added that it is "inconceivable that this criminal operation could exist without Bidzina Ivanishvili knowing it."
“An investigative report by "Shabatis Formula" has once again revealed that fraudulent call centers involved in transnational cybercrime have not only remained open but are thriving. Even though Liluashvili is in prison—and despite the fact that everyone previously identified as a patron of this international criminal scheme is now behind bars rather than within the ranks of Georgian Dream—the criminal activity continues to this day. We have compiled a third report, and we are now aware of specific office locations and addresses. Consequently, we are demanding an investigation into these crimes. Furthermore, should no investigation be launched, we will explicitly name the Prosecutor General, the Head of the State Security Service, and the entire chain of command as protectors of this international criminal enterprise.
The responsibility for this currently rests with Irakli Kobakhidze—the very man who once challenged others to "show me a corruption-related crime." Moreover, Tbilisi—the capital of Georgia—has become a hub for transnational cybercrime and fraudulent call centers; Georgian Dream bears full responsibility for this state of affairs. This is a grave crime involving tens of thousands of young people; according to our information, the proceeds are being laundered through the construction sector and the gambling industry.
Therefore, we once again call upon the investigative authorities to cease providing protection and to launch an investigation. We will not stop until the specific perpetrators are held accountable. It is inconceivable that this criminal operation could exist without Bidzina Ivanishvili knowing it. Consequently, we issue a final warning to the authorities: these offices must be shut down and dismantled, and investigative bodies must intervene—for this poses a threat to our country, our youth, and the future of Georgia. We reiterate our demand for an investigation and hold Bidzina Ivanishvili and Georgian Dream fully responsible," stated Lasha Parulava.
