New ropeways are likely to be installed in the direction of Samgori-Vazisubani and Akhmeteli theater-Tbilisi Sea District,- Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze stated at the meeting of the municipal government today.

According to Kaladze, the "Systra" survey has revealed that the development of Tbilisi cable-rope network has a great potential.

“The French company "Systra" conducted surveys in 2016-2017 and the surveys showed that development of Tbilisi cable-rope network has a great potential. We consider that Samgori-Vazisubani and Akhmeteli theater-Tbilisi Sea District routes are attractive for making investments,” the Tbilisi Mayor said.

Kakha Kakadze instructed relevant services of Tbilisi City Hall to determine the best interesting routes and to start working on this project.
