Drivers will be able to park for 15 minutes free four times a day in Tbilisi, - Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze said at the sitting of the municipality government today.

The Mayor noted that payment for hourly parking will be available using a mobile app or the devices installed in the streets.

"The money collected from zonal parking will be fully accumulated in the transport company and will only be used for the development of public transport," Kaladze said.

Tbilisi City Hall will start implementing a pilot project for introduction of hourly-zonal parking payment system on several streets in Tbilisi from July 1.

Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze said at the government sitting of city municipality today that the pilot project will be launched on Kote Apkhazi (Leselidze) and nearby streets.
