Representative of State Security Service denies any incident in Khurvaleti

Irakli Antadze, Deputy Director of the Analytical Department of the State Security Service, has denied any incident in the village of Khurvaleti.

"The situation is calm, no incident or new borderisation activities have occurred today. Representatives of EUMM are in the village. We have constant communication and consultations in order to prevent any possible misunderstandings in the future”, Irakli Antadze said.

He called on everyone to “refrain from provocative statements and actions that can cause tension and endanger the security environment on the ground”.
