According to the preliminary results of the Central Election Commission of Georgia, Lado Kakhadze, the majoritarian MP candidate of the ruling “Georgian Dream” party, received 62.02% of votes in the second round of the MP by-elections in Mtatsminda constituency, while his rival – Shalva Shavgulidze, the majoritarian MP candidate of the “European Georgia –Free Democrats” electoral block, garnered 37.98% of votes.
The CEC says 21 out of total 31 polling stations have been counted and Lado Kakhadze received 7017 votes, Shalva Shavgulidze - 4298 votes in the Mtatsminda constituency.
