The official of the Georgian Embassy to Israel is at the detention center and meets the citizens of Georgia who are facing deportation to Georgia. According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, those persons, who were detained yesterday, are among them.
According to the Ministry Israel’s Immigration Service has already bought tickets for 12 out of 29 citizens of Georgia.
“The reasons for the transfer of Georgian citizens to the Deport Center are clear: violations of the terms of staying in the country, the use of counterfeit documents, the facts of illegal entry into Israel.
Georgian citizens will be provided with special phone cards at Deport Center to contact with their family members, “ the Foreign Ministry said.
