The government's interest is media pluralism; the government's interest is the development and progress of the country, - said Kakha Kaladze, secretary general of the Georgian Dream - Democratic Georgia party, in connection with the events around the Rustavi 2 TV.

According to Kaladze, everybody is obliged to obey the decision of the Strasbourg Court.

When commenting on the statement of opposition leaders that Bidzina Ivanishvili is behind Kibar Khalvashi, Kaladze said: "I do not know what all this has to do with Bidzina Ivanishvili."

"The decision was made by the Strasbourg Court and we are obliged to obey this decision, like we did a few years ago, when the Court suspended our court's decision. We have the same approach and attitude now. We should respect the Strasbourg Court’s decision," Kaladze said.
