The United National Movement is holding a rally in front of the Presidential Residence. The party leaders and supporters are protesting against the President's decision to pardon several people convicted of murder.

According to the leaders of the United National Movement, the President's actions are shameful and she did not even explain why she pardoned a person convicted of killing a policeman. According to one of the leaders of the party, Zaal Udumashvili, the President's statement cause scandals both inside and outside country.

As for the investigation launched by the Prosecutor General's Office, Udumashvili said that the government was forced to do so after the public outrage. However, Udumashvili does not expect that the investigation will be fruitful.
