Drivers of category A taxi cabs to be fined unless their cabs are not painted completely white

The drivers of category A taxis, who have not painted their taxi cabs completely white, will be fined, Tbilisi Mayor Kakha Kaladze said at the meeting of Tbilisi government on Wednesday.

“I would like to instruct Vice-Mayor Irakli Khmaladze if it is necessary to make changes to the rules approved by the City Council, in order to force taxi drivers to paint their taxi cabs completely and not partially white,” Kakha Kaladze said.

The mayor noted that there are some taxi cabs in the capital, which are not all-white.

“Tell them that they will be fine unless they paint their cabs completely white,” Kakha Kaladze said.
