Former President of Georgia Giorgi Margvelashvili believes that Gigi Ugulava, leader of the European Georgia party, is a political prisoner.
As Margvelashvili said in his interview with "PalitraNews" TV program 360 Gradusi (360 Degrees) that Ugulava was imprison due to political reasons.
"I think so, our strategic partners, our citizens, opposition also think so. He is a political prisoner, a person who was jailed due to political reasons," Margvelashvili said.
