Former Interior Minister Vano Merabishvili is set to leave for Poland tomorrow morning. The information was posted on Vano Merabishvili's Facebook page.

“Vano Merabishvili will participate in various events in the Republic of Poland at the invitation of the Sejm. After that, Merabishvili plans to take an emergency treatment course.

For almost 7 years of imprisonment, Merabishvili was deliberately not provided with proper medical care. After the treatment, Merabishvili will return to Georgia,” reads the statement.

Vano Merabishvili left prison after almost 7 years of imprisonment on February 20.
