Law enforcers will strictly oversee the operation of the curfew, - Prime Minister's Spokesman Irakli Chikovani said at a briefing at the governmental administration.

He reminded residents that the curfew will take effect from 9:00 pm today and urged the public to abide by the restrictions.

“The curfew comes into force today and all kind of movement will be prohibited, both by transport and on foot, from 9:00 pm to 06:00 am. This is a measure needed to stop the spread of COVID-19. We urge the population to abide by this restriction. The law enforcement agencies will strictly control the operation of this restriction,” Chikovani said.
