Police detect 61 new violations of state of emergency

61 new violations of the state of emergency were revealed in the last 24 hours as a result of the monitoring carried out by the law enforcers throughoutthe country.

As InterPressNews was informed by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, 57 citizens were fined for violating curfew across the country last night.

“The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Georgia continue working for 24 hours in order to identify violators of the restrictions imposed within the framework of the curfew. In order to prevent the spread of coronavirus in the country, the police respond promptly to all violations. Law enforcers detected 61 new cases of violation of the curfew for the last 24 hours. 57 citizens were fined for violating the curfew across the country last night”, the Ministry said.

Law enforcers also fined 3 persons for violation of the rules of transporting the passengers and movement by car and one legal entity - for violation of economic activities.

The Ministry of Internal Affairs calls on citizens to obey restrictions imposed within the framework of the state of emergency, otherwise, the measures provided by law will be applied.
